Avast: Registration

• Avast is one of the few antivirus programs that can be used free of charge for home use. This article describes how to register and insert the registration key.
• The installation itself is not complicated. Follow the instructions on the screen, using the "Next" button, and choose "Typical installation". Restart your computer.
• The registration web page can be accessed by a link in the program or on the manufacturer's website (Support - Free Avast! Home registration). Fill in your name and e-mail, confirm that you will only use this product for non-commercial purposes, type in the security code from the enclosed picture and send. Within a few hours you should receive an e-mail with the registration key.

Right-click the Avast icon in the right bottom corner and open the "About" item.

In the "Registration Key" section, you can find out how long your license is valid for. In order to paste your registration key, use the "License key" button.

In the opened Registration window paste your registration key from the received e-mail.
