Internet Connection Sharing

• Enables share connect to internet - earlier was need special program (proxy server). Now is simple solution implement directly in Windows 98 WITH SE, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows 2000.

• Computer providing connection works as simple DHCP and DNS server.

Installation on computer with connection

• Control panel - add / remove programs - Windows Setup - Communications - check Internet Connection Sharing

• Start Wizard

Internet Explorer - Menu - Tools - Internet Options - Connection

New - Sharing...

• After installation is changed address on 192.168.0.1 and your computer can be unavailable in case that use another classes IP address

Configuration client's computer

• Two possibilities - 1. In configuration protocol TCP/IP at network adapter leave check - "Obtain address from server DHCP" or 2. Manually type correct IP address , order IP address main computer as server DHCP and DNS
